The Bee added a good amount of fresh vanilla beans to this traditional Foreign Export Stout. The delicate sweetness of the vanilla balances perfectly with the roasted flavors of the beer and compliments well the dryness of the style. For this beer we used Perla Negra, a de-husked Chilean specialty grain that reduces bitterness and astringency, giving way for the vanilla to shine.
